Hello all,

Is it possible to start and stop the IGS in BI 7.0 seperately, as it was possible in WEB AS 6.40?

Is it still part of J2EE kernel as it was in WEB AS 6.40 or It is part of ABAP Kernel?

Can anybody please help me on this?

Thank you very much for reply.

So as we knwo that J2EE Add-in on BI 7.0 is only possible from BI 7.0 SR1 ownwards. I think our IGS is running from Portal because BI is integrated to Portal.

Correct me If am wrong.

My another question is that can I start and stop IGS independent of the SAP.

I am also interested in this question. I have not found any way to separately start and stop IGS. It would be nice if that is possible. We had to restart SAP when IGS got hung. Can't do that in production.
