Dear PS consultants,

Last few months i struggling to settle the Projects. I dont know wht is the problem also. IS Project settlement required COPA? Strategies is required in the settlement process. any body has any inputs advice us.

what is the necessaity to settle to gl account. A Customer project is a temporary Cost Object. If we want to settle to Cost Center it has a meaning, how can we sttle to G/L Account. what is the logic.

Is it required the COPA to settle the Customer Project.

Customer project are settled to Profitability Segment i.e. PSG.

Dear,

If you do not want to settele to PSG profibility segement then you can also settle to G/L directily.

If you have CO=PA then batter to settle in Profibility segement PSG.

hi,

Settlement depends upoon the type of Project.

If it is Investment Project (where Asset is created) it has to be settled on Asset.

For Customer project it can be settled on Cost center.

It depend upon your Configuration for Settelment Profile and Allocation Structure.
