Batch number in Quality lot

Dear Experts,

In-process inspection lot created without batch number for a process order . The batch number was entered in the process order . When tried to enter through QA02 , the batch and storage location field are in display mode . The inspection lot has status REL CALC and the operation against which the characteritics assigned is confirmed and the material is partially delivered . How to input the batch number in to the inspection lot . Please advice.

Check whether the material is batch managed in the material master.

Hi,

If the inspection lot is in just released mode then first cancel the order confirmation.Then delete the inspection lot from change process order menu process order -

inspection lot----

---

delete inspection lot

Again read PP master data .and release the order new lot will come to quality

1) First check in MM02, material is Batch Managed

2) Plz check Process order , where batch i s there
