Hi Experts,
We are accessing our client's MDM server over a VPN network. We are able to access only the Console from our desktops. We can login and see the repository structure.
For the other three clients viz. Data Manager, Import Manager & Syndicator, after we provide the login credentials, it just hangs. We then would have to kill the process. I have waited for hours together for any response after providing the credentials. But nothing happens.
There is no problem at client end in accessing these clients.
We are suspecting this to be some network related issue. Can any one provide me with the list fo ports that the client uses to connect to the server. We want to check if the firewall is stopping them.
Also if any of you have faced any simillar issue earlier, it would be greatful if you could let us know how it was resolved.
We are currently using SAP MDM 5.5 SP06.

Hi Uday,
Some more inputs:
1. Make sure that these ports are open at client site & also at your place : 20003, 20005, 20008, 20009.
2. Make sure to open some TCP ports on which the repository is loaded.
3. Add the server details in the host file & try.

Its definetly because of Security problem only,first check you have all authorization to acces MDM Components using VPN.
