Overwrite-Exit Methods not available

Hi All,

I am in process of enhancing the standard Travel Management application.

Unluckily I don't find the option of Overwrite exit methods. For all the wd abap component methods, per-exit and post-exits are available not overwrite exits.

Please throw some light on why is this happening. Is there some basis settings or activation that needs to be done to activate these methods exits.

Overwrite methods don't become available for Web Dynpro ABAP until NetWeaver 7.0 Enhancement Package 1.

That explains why you don't see the Overwrite Exit methods then. ERP 6.0 Enhancement Package 3 runs on top of NetWeaver 7.0. You need NetWeaver 7.0 Enhancement Package 1 in order to have Overwrite Exit Method options in Web Dynpro. NetWeaver 7.0 Enhancement Package 1 is only available as of ERP 6.0 Enhnacement Package 4.

Is this related to the Netweaver verion and patch levels. Might be tghe latest one has it...
