/SAPAPO/LOC3 Shipping Calendar

Hi All,

we need more than one shipping calendar for one location/plant.

In transaction /SAPAPO/LOC3 it is only possible to assign one calendar.

Which possibility do we have?

Thanks a lot,

Tann

Tann,

You haven't said much about your business requirements. However, most business requirements for multiple shipping calendars are satisfied by assigning different shipping calendars to different shipping points. Many shipping points can then be assigned to a single plant.

Transportation and Shipment Scheduling:

The shipping calendar of the start location to schedule the activities plan, pick/pack, and load.

Hello DB49,

usually our plants are open (for pick/pack and load) from Monday to Friday;

on the Saturday we only do the picking/packing/loading for one sold-to.

The shipping calendar is assigned to the plant in //loc3 in APO.

Therefore the shipment scheduling in APO considers only that the plant is open from Mo - Fri.

What can we do that the scheduling considers (for one sold-to) also the Saturday?

Kind Regards,

Hi Tann,

You can potentially use Receiving calendar in the target instead of shipping from source (see if it fit your requirements).

Alertnatively you can attached calendar to the transportation lane.

Tann,

It sounds like you are not using shipping points to determine your picking/packing duration in your shipping schedules.

If this is the case, then I agree with Mr. LeBrun. You could create a unique transportation lane for this customer, create a unique time stream calendar in SCM (/SAPAPO/CALENDAR) and attach to the means of transport in the transportation lane.
