Hello,
We are planning to implement SRM70 classic scenerio-Self service Procurement with Backend system as R/3 4.7.
Is it possible to do that and are ther any restrictions.
Cheers,
Sid
Hi,
Yes. SAP R/3 4.7 backend is supported.
If the backend is ERP 6.0 EhP4, you can use new functions.
- CPPR
- Central Contract
- Service Procurement in Classic
- etc...

Hi Sydhyesh,
As Masa mentioned, R/3 4.7 is supported with SRM 7.0. Refer to the SRM 7.0 Upgrade Master Guide:
https://websmp101.sap-ag.de/~sapdownload/012002523100012366712008E/HELPX_UPGRADE_MASTER_GUIDE.pdf
You won't have access to some new functions only available as of ERP 6.0 EhP4:
http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/en/87/52063ad3234484953bca0487181bc8/frameset.htm
Most of these new functions are on the sourcing side; self-service procurement is not really impacted. So you should be OK.
Cheers,
Serguei
