JCo creation error

Hi All,

We have installed Netweaver 7.0 SPS 19 and on it we installed EHp1 and completed the post-installation steps for SLD, have performed by running the Configuration wizard @ http://<hostname>:<port>/NWA all the steps to connect to ERP 6.0 system.

After checking in http://<hostname>:<port>/SLD the technical system name was not created so created the same manually.

The problem comes when we try to create a JCo, we are able to do all the steps(Including the Message server name & Logon group appear in the drop down) but when we click on "Finish" button to create the JCo, it gives an error message as "MsgServerName is not found".

I tired redoing the steps but in vain, is it some problem related to EHp1 or we are missing some steps?

Also please suggest where to find the Logs that are specific to JCo creation/SLD.

We had to manually put the Message server name. This resolves the issue.

Not sure why you created the techinical system manually

Register system in SLD (Via RZ70)

System should show up in SLD and only then go ahead with the rest of the config.

Confirm that everything is ok in SLD before proceeding further

You don't need to create JCos manually.

First, you should complete the steps in Tx. RZ70. Then, You have to login on Portal, go to 'Deploy and Change' and complete the first Configuration Template (JAVA) correctly. This template creates the JCO connections...
