Hi I am from SAP FI and have one SD QUESTION

How system calculates the customer price for product. Example if material price is 200( condition type internal price ) but in sales order condition type price calculates 500 for revenue and cutomer pays 500. so how system calculates 500. Thanks

Hi

The calculation of price happens based on the pricing procedure which is nothing but a sequential arrangement of condition types. Basically there are four pricing elements and each having many condition types. The different pricing elements are prices, surcharges/discounts, Taxes and Freight. To check, how the price of 500 has been arrived/calculated....go to your sales order and goto Item conditons tab(menu-goto-item-conditions) and there you can see the values against each conditon type.

HI,

The selling price is picked from the condition record that is maintained by the Transaction code: VK11. The selling price 500 is maintained in the condition record. That is why it is picking 500.

Hi,

The internal price is the cost of the product. That mean total cost to manufacture or procure that product.

The condition type is VPRS. The cost will pick up from Material Master Record (accounting 1 view).

The price we give in sales order, The condition type for price is PR00.

Either we give manually the PR00 in sales order or we will maintain the condition record for PR00 by going to transaction code VK11.

These all condition type we assign in pricing procedure. The transaction code for pricing procedure is V/08.

Here we define how we want our pricing structure tobe.

Hi,

The internal price is nothing but the cost of the material,it is condition type VPRS.This is 200.The amount customer pays is the selling price.It is condition type PR00.Of course with addition of VAT or others.It is 500. Hope this answers your query.
