We've one requirement where we need to print bar code of 4 inches height & around 8 inches width.
I'm using smartform new barcode technology for this ( we don't want to use external hardware) .I've created a customized font in system barcode section in tcode se73 using 128A standard
In se73 we've two bar code parameters : narrow module width decides width and linear height decides height of barcode.
Height is fine. I'm getting 4 inches height. but Narrow module width has maximum of 30 which is limiting my barcode width to 5 inches to 7 inches ( depending upon value of barcode, it vary ).
But Client wants width of 8 inches because they need to scan from long distances in warehouse . I'm ready to use any barcode standard but width should be around 8 inches. We're using zebra printer to print barcodes.
Is there any workaround or am I missing something somewhere?
