Alerts Issue - PI 7.1 !!

Hi Experts ,

I am working on alerts in PI 7.1 and able to see them in alert inbox using RSALERTTEST report program .

I want to receive the alerts with out executing RSALERTTEST program .

Went through couple of threads/blogs and found that no specific setting is required for this in PI 7.1 . Is it true ?

Is there something which i am missing ? Kindly guide ?

I was solve today some errors in Alert configuration:

- no receive alerts

- test report to send alerts work ok

- two alerts for each trigger error

I was use the next sap notes and links

Hi Santhosh,

Yes, there is no other settings are required.

If the problem exists then check the container variables syntax in Alrtcatdef transaction.

Yes it is true.....everything is the same for Alert Configuration.

We believe the same but not able to find out the issue .

Some basic checks:

Keep the values in the fields (like Sender Interface etc in Alert Configuration) as *

Rule Active Checkbox checked

Suppress Multiple Alerts unchecked.

Relevant Alert Category included in the alert rule.

Other than the one mentioned above I have not followed any more settings while configuring alerts in my PI7.1 system.
