0version text load different

Hello BW Experts,

If i look at the 0version_text infopackage i see the options

1) ALE inbox and infobject

2) ALE Inbox only

but these do not appear at other infopackages. Why is this infopackage different, and what does these options mean.

Hi,

I believe when loading master data system try to anage delta with the help of ALE pointers while in transaction data it uses some other method.

that is the reason you see it only in few loads notin others.

Hi BWer ,

In the transfer rule of 0version_text transfer method IDOC is chosen so that is why you are getting the options ALE inbox and infobject and ALE Inbox only . If the tranfer method PSA is chosen you get the options

PSA and data target in Parallel , in serial , Update PSA and upload into data target as the option .
