Sender Port in FILE to IDOC scenario

Hi all,

I am trying to do a File - SAP XI-IDOC scenario.

The idoc which is getting created in XI is having senderport as SAPABC where ABC is my XI system id.

i have not craeted this sender port and i am not able to find it in idx1 tx.code of XI.

Can anyone please tell me how and where is this port is getting created. Will it get genarated automatically by the XI system for posting the idocs?

Hi Rao,

First you need to create the port in idx1 of xi and then it will fill automatically. So while creating give port name as SAPabc where abc is your sap sid, and the client number of sap to which you want to send idocs. Then you need to give rfc destination which you have created in SM59 for Sap from XI.

Hi Jagruti,

Did you not import the Idoc type in IDX2, for this File-to-Idoc scenario? Is someelse created the port in IDX1?

IDoc receiver adapter automatically fills this value as SAP+SYSID
