no material num insp.

if qm supports no material num insp.?if yes,how can i make insp. chara. /worklist,and how can i assign insp. type for the no num. material?

Hi

As per my understanding you want to create a Task list without material.

This is possible through QP01 only .

here keep material field blank ,enter only plant & date & press enter.

Now depending upon the usage of the task list( like 5 for GR- 01 type of inspection),

this task list will be attached to the inspection plan.

But in QA01/QA02 if you check you will find that task list is not attached to a material.

Reason there is no material specific task list.

In this case you have to attach the material number in Material assignment of the task list then only inspection plan will attach.

you mistake me,i mean the material doen't exist in system,i just wanna po with text,like service po,but i till wanna trgger qm,is that possible?

Then In this case you have to use the Dummy material.

In MM02 you can always change the Description.

this is one soluations....

You can create a "Dummy material ". and assinge the inspection Cha.

later u can change the Description

We created 'dummy' material master and then used standard QM functionality.
