Log in sales order texts

Dear all,

We need to control the modifications in sales order items text. Is it possible in SAP standard? If not, has anybody develop this modification log?

Go to IMG > SD > Basic Function > Text Control .Here check the Text Det. Procedure against the Item Category.

Then as per the assigned Access Seq. ,assign the Routine in which you can maintain the Logic that in VA02,no user or a specified User can do the Changes.

Thanks for the information.

But that's not the problem. I don't want to control authorizations to change texts. We want to have a log with all the changes in texts. I mean, If in the text Z001 you have u201CPlease allow 5-7 weeks for ocean transportation from Bilbao to US Portu201D and then with VA02, you change the test to u201CPlease allow 9 weeks for ocean transportation from Bilbao to US Portu201D, we want a log to see the initial text and the final one.

You can create a small Z program with Line Item Text Field & Functional Output as Read_Text and in the Output ,it should show the Old & New Text which is maintained in the Sales Order.
