I would like to know while createing a transport request what is the difference between a change request through CMS and File System .

Hi Neha,
CMS is a mode of transport of XI object. You need to configure the CMS in your syste before you u can use this mode of transport.

File mangament system is importing and exporting of your XI object using file system (.tpz files)
