Unable to display this file - AL11

Hi,

I am runnning one report(ZXXXX) in background which in turn creates output in a spool and a file is created in AL11.

But when i try to open that file am getting below error message.

"Unable to display this file".

Please help me on this.

I suggest you talk with your (OS) system administrators to see if they can see the file on OS level and possibly mail it to you. If that works and the file is readable you can rule out a lot of possible problems.

Hi,

AL11 tries to open that file for reading and it fails for some reason. Maybe SAP does not have enough authorization to read file. Check file permissions on OS level.

Do an SU53 and check ST22 for missing S_DATASET or S_PATH authorizations as well.
