Upgrade Solution Manager3.2 to SM7.0EHP1

Hi,

This is for upgrade of Solution Manager3.2 to Solution Manager7.0EHP1(SP19). The environment is DB6 database on AIX operating system.

Can the SM3.2 be upgraded to SM7.0EHP1 directly?

or

Is it from Sm3.2 to SM7.0 and then apply the EHP1?

Which approach would be the best one to follow? Any guidance in this regard will be appreciated.

Hi,

Upgrade to SM7.0EHP1 when compared to SM7.0 is not much different.

It is like upgarding the product in SAINT.

There is not much difference in that one.

I think you can directly upgrade.

Thank you for the responce. Took time to respond as am still searching on this issue.

I am unable to find information or statement which would confirm that the upgrade from Sm3.2 can be directly to SM7.0EHP1.

Hi,

Yes, it is possible to upgrade from 3.1 or 3.2 to EHP1.

Refer page 9, where it is mentioned exactly about your requirement.
