Discussion post count on resource in layoutset

Dear all,

I'm trying to create a layoutset that show the amount of posts on the resources that are listed in the layoutset by adding the property cm_discussionpostscount to the layoutset. I also found this document,

<a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/69/48ce13d1f2a34f843ac3cc56e378c6/frameset.htm">http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/69/48ce13d1f2a34f843ac3cc56e378c6/frameset.htm</a>

I tried to add all services of the CM repository managers in the 'Number of Discussion Posts Filter', but I cannot get it working. The amount of posts is not shown in the layoutset.

Does anyone have any experience with this? And can give me a hint in the right direction?

Thanks in advance and kind regards,

Barry

Hi Barry,

the standard layoutSet that is delivered for the discussiongroups (e.g. DiscussionGroupsContributor) should display the amount of posts for a discussion automatically.

You have to take care the the CM Repository Managers where the discussions are stored are added as Repositories in the "numberofdiscussionpost" Repository Filter. It seems that you did this configuration? Did you restart the portal afterwards? Are you sure that you added the correct repositories, e.g. roomExtensions for the collaboration rooms?

Hi Anja,

The content was stored in /documents and not in a collaboration room, as I thought it was. We can see the post count in the layoutset now,

kind regards and thanks,

Barry
