Change Request Number

Hi,

I wanted to know if there is a way if I can specify a change request number while creating a change request.

I mean, how do I create a change request with a specific request number.

Like, can i create a request with a no. 912345....Is there any other way besides the RSWBO301 report and the TRKORR field in the EO701 table ???

Simple answer No, and If you could you shouldn't.

Hi,

The number range is maintained for the change request number like we main number range for sales orders.

So you cannot change the change request number as it generates next number that of previously generated number.

If start creating your own numbers,it will create confusion. it is not recommended by SAP

they are automatically generated and you cannot give manually..
