Dear Experts,
We are planning to upgrade our 4.6C to ECC6 SP3. I came under lot of Questions which I was not able to answer.
They are:
1. We are running 4.7 on win server 32 bit machine is it possible to upgrade to 64 bit on existing machine itself to use more resource like memory and other functionalities?
2. ECC6 SR3 will support only 64bit not 32 bit so how can we plan?
3. Is it possible to clone the 4.6c PRD server on 64bit windows?
Kindly provide me some brief guidelines on the above Questions and give me some link from where I can get step by step guide for upgradation.
Regards,
Sudharsan.M

On existing machine? Not if the existing hardware is 32bit... you'll need to do a Homogeneous system copy into a box that support 64bit...
2. ECC6 SR3 will support only 64bit not 32 bit so how can we plan?
You just need to get a 64bit server... nothing else to plan.
3. Is it possible to clone the 4.6c PRD server on 64bit windows?
As said before the best is to do a Homogeneos system copy.
All the guide are available at SAP Marketplace.
