hi xi experts.....

In FTP connection parameters port no is default 21 why this number is there any possibility for another number?

Why this anonymous logon check box is it should be always tick up then if not when we uncheck this radio button?

Why the transfer mode binary always why not text? Explain me one situation to use text option?

i didnot get any threds in sdn or in help also i didnot get answers

21 is the mostly used value, you can put there any other

U can choose between logon with user/password or without

U can choose the mode. Take text for XML, binary for pictures etc, files containing special characters

For anonymous logon : If FTP server is configured for anonymous logon,then you can login by not using any password .

But if FTP is configured with login & password, then anonymous logon will not work.
