Novice question on UOM

Hi,

This is my first attempt in using BI.

I had successfully loaded data into one of the standard cube and try to execute the standard reports that comes with it. Upon execution, I notice the BEx reports keep showing lots of "*" characters? Is there anything that I miss out? I'm suspecting its due to different UOM in the data loaded into the cube, but shouldn't that be taken care of by BI through the BASE_UOM info object?

Does anybody has any clue on this?

Hi guys,

Thanks heaps for the prompt response.

Manage to figure out that there's a customizing that I need to perform (rscustv4) to allow Mixed Values and the "*" disappear.

Hi,

When ever OLAP can not caliculate any value it throws * for display.. for example a) 1/0 (or) addition of characters..etc. just checkout those things..
