Play back of imported transport

Hello Experts,

is there a possibility to play back an imported transport order, so that the changes on the system, which were done are cancelled and the system is on the status before importing the transport order?

Again edit the object to old settings in dev and include them in a transport and import it. Status will be as it was earlier.

So, it is not possible to play back to the earlier status without using a correction transport order?

other option is restore from last consistent backup and redo log (if online restore) to most possible current timestamp.

but seems to be odd just for single transport

Ask ABAPer also if he/she can revert to the previous version of the object.
