BW BEx Query Customer Exit Text Variables - Universe Designer

Hello guys,

We are on BI 7.0 - XI 3.1 - SP1.

We are trying to create a universe on top of a BI query. In the key figure structure of the BI query, all of our key figures have CUSTOMER EXIT TEXT VARIABLES in their column headings.

If the customer exit text variables are not supported, how to accomplish this in Universe/WebI Report.

I was going through some documentation where I noticed that 'Customer Exit' Text variables (in BEx query) are not supported in Universe. Only Replacement Path Text variables are supported in universes. Is it true? I wanted to confirm.

Please confirm. I want to make sure there are no changes regarding Text variables in the latest service pack.

Hi Sachin,

I confirm that it is not supported.

You need to modify the headings manually in Web Intelligence.

By the way you can also base a heading on the result of another data or variable.
