My requirement is delivery note should get updated with an output type when a delivery gets post goods issued.
Are there any standard output types I can use or copy?

In the output precedure for outbound delivery, your need to put the requiement = 1 (delivery GI posted).
That means this output will be available after delivery was posted GI.

Here is what you need to do to meet your requirement:
1. Go to Logistic Execution>Shipping > Basic functions> Output Control > Output Determination > Maintain output determination Procedure
2. Select your output determination procedure
3. Get inside the control data
4. For your output type- choose requirement as '1' - 'Delivery GI posted'
