Sampling Procedure determination

Hi all ,

At what level is the Sampling Procedure determined , is it determined at Quality inspection plan level or characteristic level ?

Sampling Procedure determined , is it determined at Quality inspection plan level or characteristic level ?

sampling procdure is dermined at two levels.

1.If Inspection plan is used then at char level.

2.if no inspection plan is used then at Inspection tyep level in QM view

I hope this will add some values.

Thanks for the reply .

i had created a Sampling Procedure and when tried to assig it to the characteristic in the Inspection plan , i am not able ot find the same . what could be the possible reason.

Hi

There are some specific field in samling procedure creation which are applicable to specific scenario.

Like If you are using SPC then it will be applicable when char is SPC.

if you are using with inspection points then you must have inspection points at header,....etc etc

I hope you have selected exact sampling procedure.

Can you send me the detials of Sampling procedure

I had used Fixed Sampling , valuation mode : mean value and inspection points : sample management

inspection points : sample management

This is only used in conjuction with sample mgt.

that is when you are using sample drawing procedure & Inspecton point 200 in task list header.

then only this sampling procedure will appear.

Hi,

Check the control indicator for that MIC in Insp Plan. Sampling Procedure should be ticked.
