Message from NACE not visible in transaction

Hi

I have to create a new smartform for an invoice and i wanted to add first my message in transaction NACE.I have created my message in NACE but when i try to generate my output from transaction VF02 with the name of my message i receive an error

'Output XXXX is not defined '.

Why is my message not visible in VF02? I have declared it in the same application V3 as the others.

did you assign this new output type to the output procedure?

An output procedure is assigned to each document type. For example, an invoice might use a different output procedure than a credit memo.

In NACE, you select V3 for billing and then PROCEDURES. Select the procedure being used for that document type and select CONTROL. Your new output type (message) has to be added to the list of available output types.

Hi

I solved the problem with some help from a colleague.

I had to go to VV31 and create output -condition records for my message type

Afterwards i went to the VF02 transaction,in my invoice-> Dsiaply doc header details->Output button .Here i added my new message type.Now it seems to work.Thanks for the help.
