creat a reference sale order

Dear all

here me want creat a sales order with reference another sales order . & their order type are diffirent .

whan i gong to creat than me all detail are not copied . even lime item also not copied . so what i do plz help out me

(Item 000010 contains errors and cannot be copied )

this error message shows that there is a problem in item in the sale order

pls check the pricing,plant,schedule line (if any), in the source sales document.

hi,

i think the problem is with the source sales order document,

goto that document(which you want to copy) and goto edit(menu bar) and incompletion log and check the document is complete

Hi,

Is your problem has been solved or not?

Go to VA02 and give your sales order number which you want to copy.

In that check out which item category and schedule line category has been determined by the sales order.

Now go VTAA and select your combination sales order.

In that check whether your item category has added in your copy control or not.

Check out the field proposed item category, which item category has been assigned over there.

Do these checking for the schedule category also.

Now go to IMG u2013 SD u2013 sales u2013 sales document u2013 sales document item u2013 assign item category.

Over here check out whether item category assignment has been done or not for the target document.

The proposed item category which we find in the copy control that should be assigned to the target sales document.

Similar setting should be checked for the schedule line category.

Do these thing and let us know whether know you are able to copy or not.

Can you tell why is this requirement occurs to copy sales order from the other sales order.

Hi,

Goto the Transaction code VTAA and select your documents types.

Click on the Header and maintain the COPYING REQUIREMENT 001 and also click on the check box COPY ITEM NUMBER.

then click on the ITEM and choose your item category and maintain the COPYING REQUIREMENTS AS 301 .

Please do this settings and create the order with reference.

when me given enter than than screen open but no line item thier & whan i click on log na than c this error (Item 000010 contains errors and cannot be copied )

Hi,

Goto VTAA click on the pencil like icon make as change mode and copy a standard (OR to OR) and make it as your required source order type to target order type.give the specify entries and press enter it will give an pop up select copy all and save it.And try your scenario.
