Hello All,
We are facing problem with login to E-Sourcing 5.1
We are able to login and work with user "system" and "enterprise" (Standard Users) but not able to login with buyer side users.
Error it gives is as follows.
The SRM Application is not currently available.
This is happening recently.
We also created New user (Password we received via mail as Email is configured as per guide) and try to login with it, but same error.
Error talks about SRM application not available, but as per guide we dont maintain any SRM system Config/setting/parameter (Please correct if I am wrong). Also E-Sourcing is using SAP J2EE (NW2004s) as server. This J2EE system is also working fine. All applications are running on it without any error.
Please suggest here.
Regards,
Abhay
Hello Abhay
Restarting E-Sourcing server may solve this problem.
If you have already tried that....then Please let me know directory configuration you are using for ES

Hi Abhay,
Please check your Directory configuration.
Setup > Directory Configuration List > Local - Buyside
check if following properties are maintained :
Default : True
Usage: Active Buyside
Driver: Local
Changeable Passwords : True
Expired Passwords: True
New Accounts: True. - check this one
I hope this will solve your issue.

Vaibhav
Hello,
As you mentioned problem is with cache, plz let me know how to refresh it.
Now I have doubt for restarting server.
e-sourcing application is deployed on SAP Netweaver system. Database for e-sourcing is separate one.
When we talk about restart of E-sourcing, as per guide its restart of SAP Netweaver system.
Thats already done and still problem persist. So whats you suggest on restart here? Should we take DB restart also.
Regards,
Abhay
