Characteristics results cannot be recorded for inspection lot

Hello,

I tried to fill an inspection lot in QE51N but I received this message "Characteristics results cannot be recorded for inspection lot".

Another user can proceed with same inspection lot on another PC with my login and password.

Do you know which parameters on my PC are bad?

Ans: it means , may be your material is not managed with task list (specification ) and you have been clicked on Result record so this massage comes. it is not a PC specific pl check your QM master settings .

Hi

this is not PC specific.

This is depends upon:

1.Tick of Check char in Inspection type in QM view.

2.Autherization of RR.check in Su53 immediatly after you get this mgs.

3.it is User specific ID.(ultimetly Autherizarization.

I hope this will add some value.
