the user complained that when he want to open report, he has no authorization for object zsalesorg. how to change it, please advise, thank you
Hi Junyi,
The following are the steps in Authorizations:
1) Check your Authorization Object in RSSM.
2) Create a Role in PFCG if you want a new role to be created. If it is already there just go to SU01 and check the role for which this user is assigned.
3) In PFCG go to change authorizations and check the authorizations properly. First try to check with * Authorizations .
4) While authorizing don't forget to give the enduser the display and execute authorizations. If it is not given your authorization has no meaning.
Hope this helps. Don't forget to assign points if useful..

Make your InfoObject authorization-relevant in the Business Explorer Tab of the InfoObject (in cahnge mode)
Create an authorization object using RSSM
highlight the InfoObject and in change mode use the arrow to bring it to the left side andsave
Then you assign the authorization object into a role using PFCG
from PFCG, you can then maintain the authorisation data
Hope this helps

Dear Junyi,
1) Try to find and analye the authorisation Objects for that user in RSSM. Also find out what is missing in RSSM.
2) Try to modify his existing role, create/add a new in PFCG for him
try reexecuting the report with that user id..
regards,
Hari

Hi,
In SU20 you will have to create a CLass.
After saving this double click this and you will taken to another screen where you can create Auth Object.
You can create authorization fields in SU21 or use existing ones.
You can also do above thru tcode SE80 Edit -> Other Object. In one the tabs you will see Auth. Objects .
