Hi All,
I had a very basic question.
If we deploy the standard WebDynpro Java framework -- jar/library files on Tomcat and then deploy a .ear.
Can i get the application running on Tomcat?
Awaiting your reponse.
Thanks,
Veena.
Hi Veena,
Tomcat is not an Application Server i.e, J2EE specifications are not fully implemented thus u can't deploye .ear file in to the Tomcat.

To get it running standard WebDynpro Java framework you need to install SAP JCO on Appache Tomcat,

Hi,
I doubt it would be that easy. First you would need the WDP runtime deployed, then adjusted, then some internal applications deployed too.
Check the Web Dynpro Java Open Source thread, there are some guys from SAP saying that it's quite easy (and probably they have it already) - maybe someone can help you.

Daniel
Does anyone have an idea ?
