Can anybody explain what are RTAs, and what is the added value against normal RFC ?
Thanks in advance
The SAP GRC Access Control Real Time Agent (RTA) is contained in the files VIRSANH and VIRSAHR.
You install one or both of the files depending on whether or not you have the SAP_HR component on
your system
Real Time Agent (RTA) must be
installed on the backend system.

Pascal,
RTA means real-time agent and it contains BAPIs. RTA and RFC has no base to compare. RFC just helps to connect any system to SAP system whereas RTA has ABAP programs which will make the SAP GRC Access Control product to work. Using the RTA, Access Control can create users, roles, assign roles, synchronize roles, users, profiles and so on.........
