Hi All
I have done alert configuration to send email notifications for all my scenarios and displaying required information.
However if message fails at adapter framework level its not giving me error category / error code / system error area information.
Can you please let me know how can I indicate in the mail that it got failed at adapter level. Please find one such scenario below
e.g. For a JMS adapter where input is pipe(|) separated flat file where one of row has extra pipe(|) it fails while sending message to communication channel.
I am getting email notification but there is no value for error category / error code / system error area.
Thanks for your inputs.
Regards
Amol
Hi Ramesh
Thanks for the input. However if I change it to Adapter engine it won't give email notification for Integration Engine. Also, at present 'No Restiction' should sen dnotification fr AE & IE which is happening only thing is I am not getting error information in the mail in case of AE errors. AE errors such as error category or error overview etc.
Please let me know your inputs on this. Thanks.
Regards
Amol

Hi Sasitharan
I already have container elements for error code and error category.
I get value for those when error occurs at Integration Engine level.
Thanks & Regards

Hi Amol,
When you create the Alert rule in the RWB you mentioned No Restriction option for error?
If yes ok otherwise select this.
or select the error type as Adapter engine and give the required input values (Connected to message, party, component, interface of sender and receiver) and check the scenario.

Hi amol,
you need to create container element for error code and category in transaction ALRTCATDEF.
Refer the following blog of michael,
/people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/09/09/xi-alerts--step-by-step
give proper values for error code and error category in long text/short text tab as per blog
Also have this thread for reference

Sasi
