Material Assignment in Inspection Plan

Dear All,

what is the maximum number of material that we can assign, to an inspection plan by Mat-TList assignment?

I thought of let users to assign materials by task list assignment by this way because for all the material inspections, there will be same MIC. what are the implication of doing this?

Hi,

You can assign as many material assignments as you want,i have once assigned 7000 materials.

There will not be any implications it will be useful in case there are common specifications for all the materials.

DId u assign all 7000 material in one inspection plan and counter or different countes

did u create this as one data load.

Because we have same requirement allmost 4000materials inspection characteristic and specification are same.

I am thinking to create one inspection plan group and counter.

Is't possible to do by BDC....

Hi,

I have assigned all 7000 materials to one inspection plan and single group counter.

We can do the material assignment through BDC.But i dont have the code for BDC .
