Functionality of Start macro

Hello All,

When I use the start macro it's getting triggered when I load the values in the planning book as well as when I save the data.

But the SAP help says it will trigger only when the value is loaded. Please confirm.

Hi Siva,

The sytems always reloads data after the user saves the data.

This means that start macros are also carried out after saving.

When a user selects the value in shuffler, this works with

start macro

Hi Siva,

Only default macro will change the Value instattaneously in Flexible Planning Screen. Check whether Macro is default?

Start Macro will trigger only once when you are entering in the planning screen. Default will trigger always if any value is changing.
