I am just wondering if it is a good practise to post defect item from customer return to BLOCKED STOCK TYPE during MIGO in referance to a repair order on customer complaints?

I am just wondering if it is a good practise to post defect item from customer return to BLOCKED STOCK TYPE during MIGO
As per my knowledge Whether the material is to be put in Block stock or In Scrap -551 mvt is depend on the scenqario of the company.
If your company is caarying out the analysis for customer returns by quality then post into storage location where analysis can be done & then can be scrapped.
I hope this will add some value.
