Dear All,
We created new document type for master agreements copying from standard docuement type.
We need to create new fields using extensions and this should be restricted to three standard master agreement types and these field should not appear in the new document type. I created new fields but these fiedls are appeaing in the new custom document type also. How to restrict the new fields in such a way that these fields should not appear in the new document type for master agreements?
I also need to create new custom fields in the new document master agreement type and these new fields should not be appear in the regular document types .How to configure this ?
Thanks in advance,
Sai.
Hi Mudit_UCB and Vikram Shukla,

Hi
This could be achieved using page customization. Create a page customization for the field you want to hide. choose property: Hidden, Value:Yes, Dimension Field: DOC_TYPE, Dimension Field Type: Object Reference, Class Name: Master Agreement Type and in dimension value choose the master agreement you want to keep this value hidden for.

Adding to what has been posted, you can also use the Workbook for this kind of change. In this way you can specify all changes in one go without having to create individual page customizations.
In the UI_Overrides tab, you can mention all such requirements. E.g.,
Hide Product Category for all MA Types
UI_ID PARENT_CLASS_ID FIELD ATTRIBUTE
contracts.contract.ui.buyside.default INT_CAT Hidden TRUE
Thanks,
Vikram Shukla
