I want to use SFTP adapter in my communication channel.what 'known hosts store' field indicates?

So the known host file in Xi should have the key of the external system; thats what you meant right?

The public key store file should be available in Xi, to pass the data across SFTP adapter.

Hi,

I think that is imposible connect by mean FTP adapter via SFTP, but there are some blogs that talking about how to connect to SFTP server via scripts.

The only secure way in SAP PI for sending files via FTP is by mean FTP over SSL (FTPS).

HI,

I think the above SFTP adapter is indicative for the external adapter. this one is not possible via standard FTp adapter.

The parameter Know_host is available in the SFTP supported external adapters.

HI,

The Known hosts files are used to validate the server. Clients need to use this parameter to have valid transition across the server.

It generally indicates the valid server with public key utilized.
