Hi

Sales Order Block required for a material, if no stock is available in that particular plant. No sales order should be created if stock is there currently.

This will be mandatory only for one particular sales order and not for all in the company.

Any suggestion to achieve this.

Hi,

To have this functionality, you can maintain this in the Material Master --> Sales Data tab --> there is a field called "X - Plant Specific Status". Here you can maintain any reason as "No Availability or any other reason as per your requirement". This you can follow when you want to delist some materials for certain period of time.

Hence, no sales order will be created for this material. To block when quantity is available, it is better to take the help of your Technical guys.

Cross-distribution-chain material status

Indicates whether the material may be used in individual functions in Sales and Distribution for all distribution chains.

Use

The cross-distribution-chain material status restricts the usability of the material for all the distribution chains, that is, it defines whether a warning or error message is displayed if you include the material in a particular function.

Example

The material may be a part under development or one to be discontinued

Hi,

It looks as for your requirment that if a item is not confirmed by the availability check for the same date as the date of creation of sales document, the system must give error,

to achieve this requirement you can make use of user exit MV45AFZZ,

Where at the time of saving sales order , the system must check the schedule line data for the line item to check if the total order quantity is confirmed for a line item

VBEP - BMENG ( COnfirmed Qty ) is not equal to zero,

if the quantity is zero an error message must be given that order cannot be saved as zero quantity of the material is available.

this particular check you can be restrict it to the particular sales document type only
