Hi all,

I'm facing the following when installing sap-esourcing 5.1 on AIX. DB is 9.1.5.

Hello Afnan

It seems that your installation was incorrect.

Please recreate WAR file with correct login info to connect to DB and deploy.

DB schema user must be the user you have create while creating database for ESourcing(pre installation process)

Thanks for the response. I'm wondering why did u say that it seems like a inst.. error? I have used the following parameters in the installation:... I have tried multiple installations but getting the same error. I was getting this error before when I had DB version 9.1.7 but SAP told me to change it to 9.1.5. So now I have 9.1.5 but getting the same errors.

com.ibm.db2.jcc.DB2Driver

jdbc:db2://localhost:5912/ESD_CLM

DB USER: DB2ESD

DB OWNER: DB2ESD

Schema: SAPR3JDB

Tablespace: FCISRM_TABLES

Tablespcace index: FCISRM_INDEXES

Tablespace blobs: FCISRM_BLOBS

ESD_CLM is a database name.

Schema owner is DB2ESD user.

I did the installation with root user even for dbimporter too. Do I need to use some other user for the installation such as sidadm or db2sid?

Hello Afnan

Please make sure that.. u have made all the entries correct while running "<FCIHOMEDIR>\bin\configure.exe"

You must have forgot to include DB jar files ("db2cc.jar" and "db2cc_license_cu.jar") in the installation.

After updating WAR/EAR file redeploy the fsourcing EAR/WAR file in Configtool.

If error is not solven then

Please post the steps you have followed while installtion.

Also Its always better to use SIDADM for installtion.

Hi Ankush,

SAP has recommended to delete db2cc.jar & db2cc_license_cu.jar from <FCI_HOME>/lib and copy from IBM/VERSION/JAVA again. Once I did that, I re-ran setupAIX.bin. It helped for some of the errors but still facing the issues. I'm waiting SAP's reply.

Steps took for the installation:

1. Created tablespaces, Bufferpools, and Schema.

2. ran setupAIX.bin.

3. Then I ran dbimport utlity and still facing issues.

Did you deployed Fsourcing EAR/WAR file to confilgtool???

As before running DBimport u must have deployed the file.

Hi,

No I did not. In fact, I don't see anything in the guide which talks about about deploying WAR/EAR in configtool. Did you mean through visual admin? If correct, then isn't the step which will come after dbimporter? I can deploy that in visual admin but what's the point? Becuase dbimporter is failing.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

hi Afnan,

yes you need to deploy EAR/WAR file.

Follow the steps to deploy

1) Run Configtool

2) Login as Administrator

3) Navigate to Server>Services>Deploy> Runtime tab> Applications button.

4) Click Deploy & Start.

5) Choose file: <fcihome>/fsapp/fcsourcing.ear and click OK.

6) Now Run DBImport.

Hi,

I think you meant Visual Administrator. Because visual admin does not give you option to login as administrator. Also, the path you gave me SErver > services > deploy then runtime tab, it is in Visual Admin not configtool. Some times it is confusing between configtool and visual admin tool.

I will try that and get back to you.

Hi Ankush/Martin,

Me and Afnan are working together for this.. Only after we import install_root.xml and import_netweaver_system_properties.xml in dbimport, we deploy the fcsourcing.ear in Visual administrator...

We are facing the error during install_root.xml.. It is failing for just one step "Install Stored Procedures".. And the errors are exactly what Afnan had posted..

I have downloaded SP05 and it worked. For the EAR/WAR file issue, I did not update the contex.. so added /sourcing and regenerated WAR/EAR then deployed. Worked fine.

my os is windows and db is oracle. i am using SAP AS java system without abap stack. Please guide me.
