CUP Password Self Service

We want to configure PSS in GRC 5.3 only

We have user store as a UME database

Our requirements

1) Users should authenticate against LDAP ..

2) User should reset the password in all the backend systems...

My questions are

1) Users can directly authenticate against LDAP just by configuring connector to it.?

or do we need to set user stor in UME as a LDAP?

2) In password self service, we define the registration question via Challenge response..?

When the user answers/register these question where the information get store?

3) we need to have RTA installed on backend to work PSS with backend system?

any other condition apart from it?

or do we need to set user stor in UME as a LDAP? No. You can just set up LDAP connector in CUP and you are good to go.

When the user answers/register these question where the information get store? It is stored in CUP.

Nope. There is no other condition.
