sales posting issue

when we are posting sales to SAP we found that some articles are getting posted with different storage location rather than maintained in article-store combination master.

due to above reason system is showing negative stock in one storage location and leading to inventory mismatch.

plz suggest the posible reasons and soution for the same.

Hi

If you have two storage location for a store then system will take what is assigned in the article master under Logistics-store tab. Possible reason could be somebody would have changed the storage location for the store in article master. We don't have provison to maintain priority storage location like in the case of source list.

Please try maintaining one storage location in article master and do the Sales posting through WPUK and check the article document in WPER and repeat the same for another storage location, now you would see both document would have different storage location.
