Maximum profiles reached - while assigning new role

Hi Gurus,

In our SAP R3 4.7EE system, we are facing an issue like maximum profiles reached for some users whose roles are crossed 308.

How to avoid this error.Anyone faced similar kind of issue.Please help.

Jagadish,

this is a technical limit which can't be changed due to the table design holding the information. Note 410993 and 841612 give more details. You will have to restructure your roles/profiles to keep the number or profiles per user below the limit.

If you search for the term "maximum AND profiles" then you will find them instead of them finding you - and the solution / limitations, etc.
