Incomplete incremental conversions before System Copy

Hi,

I am currently working on a Homogeneous system copy of a 46C - Oracle system from PRD to QAS.

The System copy guide wants one to run tcode ICNV to check for incremental conversions. ICNV shows the following in PRD:

Status display

Table Proc. Productn. Status Scenario

==============================================================

CDCLS stop Y (Green check mark) Convers. Post - upgrade

EDIDOC stop Y (Green check mark) Convers. Post u2013 upgrade

Under the button Performance analysis it says 100% finished.

The guide states status "For converson" and "Done" can be deleted and the rest has to be converted.

Looking at the table does this have to be converted?

The Note 325130 - Conversion of Tables EDIDOC & CDCLS, Rel. 4.6C/D describes why this is done this way but I cannot seem to find any information on the table values.

If the system has been currently running for years in this state, is there any impact running the conversion?

Can the conversion be run more than once without negative impact?

Regards,

- bruce

It seams that previous upgrade wasn't finished.

Simply check cluster size and if not huge, run the coversion on sandobox for test. You sholdn't expect any negative effects.

Kind regards,

Thanks. That was the recommendation from SAP as well.
