Dispather and Wp Stopped

Hai,

I installed netweaver in my system. After Installation I started SAP system. All of the processes getting ended and my dispatcher got stopped. I am pasting the Dispatcher Developer trace. Can u plz tell me wat's the problem. Wat i need to change...

Hi,

As Jaun said check you listener and afte that try to check database connection by 'R3trans -d' command with user id <sid>adm on OS level. it sholud give you return code 0, if it is not then please try to post 'trans.log'.

Error seems very clear to me... start your oracle listener. if the oracle listener is started ans it still gives you this error please check tnsnames.ora config.

Oracle Client Version: '10.2.0.1.0' 44145 0.052693 4 ETW000

Is Oracle version also same? If yes, then you need to upgrade your oracle 10.2.0.2.0. Try to start the database manaully and check alertSID.log for more info.

Hello Kiran,

Please check listener

Go to ORACLE_HOME\NETWORK\admin\ and check listener.ora file for listener name. (Normally it will be LISTENER)

Go to Services (RUN --> Services.msc) and check if listener is running or not (Service name will be Oracle<SID>102TNSListener)

It it is stopped, Please start it.

If while starting listener, you get any error, please provide log from ORACLE_HOME\NETWORK\log

If listener is running, connect to DB as below (you must be login as SIDADM on OS level.

Open CMD --> sqlplus / as sysdba

If you are able login without any error, then check "R3trans -d"

Have you done the installation with some DNS alias.Please check the entry in your /etc/hosts file.

possible network problems detected - check tracefile and adjust the DNS settings

this is the error message thet you are getting.

Can you tell me that only the dispatcher is dead or the dispatcher and server node.

Please past both the logs of std_server.out and std_dispatcher.out.

Not much info in this log.

Please paste std_dispatcher.out, jvm_dispatcher.out.

Hope we will get some more hints there to resolve the issue.
