Hi Experts!

In Communication channel monitoring I get this error:

Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: java.lang.NullPointerException: com.sap.aii.af.rfc.afcommunication.RfcAFWException: java.lang.NullPointerException

My Scenario is: JDBC > PI > RFC

The Adapter JDBC that's ok.

The adapter RFC that error.

For Solve this Issue, I try:

- clear cache (full cache) - and the problem persist.

- In Visual Admin - I try restart the service SAP XI Adapter: RFC and SAP XI AF CPA Cache, but, the problem persist.

- In Configuration - I try delete and recreate all objets, but, the problem persist.

- In TCODE SM59 - I delete and recreate the destination INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI, but, the problem persist.

This problem ocurred after update components in JSPM. This moment we work in Pacth level 18

Any body Help-me ?

The interface is ASYNC.

When Restart the service the adapter it's ok (green), but, after start the interface the status of adapter change for RED...

Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: java.lang.NullPointerException: com.sap.aii.af.rfc.afcommunication.RfcAFWException: java.lang.NullPointerException

Other Ideia?

Mattos,

Copy the Inbound Payload and test in message Mapping tab and check whether it is Success,

  • Whether other RFC adapter also throws the same error ?

  • Check SAP Note 730870

  • mention complete host address in the application server of RFC adapter

Cheers

Hey,

In Visula Admin - stop & Start the service, If still the problem persists set the Log and check it

  • is the interface Sync ?

  • Are you testing first time ?
