MC8T - Define Activities for Mass Processing

hi!

We are in the process of upgrading from APO 3.10 to SCM 5.0.

We have noticed that /SAPAPO/MC8T - Define Activities for Mass Processing, which was present as a configuration node under SPRO > SAP Advanced Planner and Optimizer (SAP APO) > Supply Chain Planning > Demand Planning > Mass Processing in APO 3.10 is no longer listed under SPRO in SCM 5.0.

We can still access it directly by using the t-code.

Is it by design that the node has been done away with in SCM 5.0 ?

Hi Anirudha,

Yes there is couple a change between 3.1 and 5...

This transaciton is not accessable from the SPRO, but is in the main "SAP easy access"

Advanced Planning and Optimization > Demand Planning > Planning > Demand Planning in the Background

/SAPAPO/MC8T - Define Activities for Mass Processing

The the node is not away, stil there and still working.

Hi Anirudha,

SAP has relocated MC8T from spro to transactional path from scm 3.1 to 5

is to ease for operational purposes, to indicate users that this is an

transactional operation and not a configurational activity and also to

group the activities under demand planning.
