VMware problem

Hello,

I got installed ECC6.0 in my External hardisc with someone. After that the person is not avaible.

I would like to access the SAP ECC6.0 I am using IBM lenovo laptop and OS is Windows vista. and connecting the external drive.

when i opened the external drive i got the option ECC6.0 folder and another folder called workstation . In workstation when i am trying to open the Vmware to start the sap server it is giving me message you need to configure something else before starting the VMware..

Can anyone help.. how to go head . If we need to do something what is it... Please guide me with steps.

Immediate help is appreciable.

Hello Kapsek,

Please provide more details: what is installed where?

- Are you running ECC6.0 in a virtual machine?

- Is this virtual machine located as a vmdk-file located on your external drive?

- Which is your operation system on your notebook?

- Which is the operation system on the virtual machine?

In workstation when i am trying to open the Vmware to start the sap server it is giving me message you need to configure something else before starting the VMware..

So this seems to be rather interesting. What exaclty want your VM Workstation to be configured? What is the exact message text?
